I love True Blood. Maybe you love True Blood. And it’s definite that Snoop Dogg loves True Blood.

The D-O-double-G has decided to profess his love for True Blood (and its characters) through his new song, “Oh Sookie.”

The music video has hit the Internet and is causing True Blood fans everywhere (myself included) to shiver in excitement. The song features many of the characters from the HBO series, but its main honoree is Sookie Stackhouse herself (played by the marvelous Anna Paquin).

Snoop Dogg’s three-minute long song “Oh Sookie” is the jumping board for the rapper to offer to buy Sookie “a gin and juice at Merlotte’s”…as well as many other, naughtier things. (“We’ll do it in the daytime, Bill won’t know a thing,” the Dogg raps.)

And Sookie’s not the only True Blood babe that has caught Snoop’s eye.

His lyrics tell Sookie to “bring your best friend, Tara / I got some real Eggs for her to eat.”

Oh, Snoop Dogg. I have a feeling that the closest you’ll get to Sookie is by dancing next to the wigged, waitress-uniform-outfitted dancers in this music video. And I’m fairly confident that Sookie wouldn’t let you “get in her head.”
