Last night, I saw The A-Team, the brand new big budget movie just hitting theaters. And I found it to be a classic bloated, dumb, exciting, Summer action movie. I loved it! One of the best things about the movie is the respect is plays to the original series, including a few awesome uses of the theme song.
So exiting the theater at 3 a.m. I found that song just streaming through my head. When I went to bed, it didn’t stop. And while sleeping, this video just kept playing in my head. It’s from the classic and highly underrated British TV show Spaced.
If you don’t know Spaced, click here and purchase it right now. It’s a decade old comedy sitcom starring and created by the team behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. All the episodes are written by and starring Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson-Hynes and directed by Edgar Wright.
It’s sort of like Friends, but infused with pop culture references ranging from Evil Dead, Resident Evil, Star Wars and The Matrix. Oh, and of course The A-Team.
One night the whole gang goes out to a club and Mike (played by Nick Frost) get a little messed up. And leads the entire club in his own unique dance.
This is the video that has been playing in my head all night thanks to The A-Team.
Check em both out right now.
