Don’t be scared, it’s not as bad as it sounds. I was a little skeptical myself, expecting to see something my squeamish eyes couldn’t handle early in the morning.

Fortunately, this little parody is less XXX and more innuendo than anything. Drawing on one of my favorite comedies, the XXX Golden Girls parody draws many of the light-hearted sexual innuendos implied on the original series, and intensifies them.

And it’s not just Blanche Devereaux who’s chomping at the sexual bit here, you see Sophia offering advice and what I can only assume as Rose insinuating lesbian tendencies.

I’m not sure, but the whole thing was still funny, and a part of me wants to see this turned into some obscure Internet series in the spirit of golden age Californication.

They could get David Duchovny to make dramatic, frustrated writer appearances, with Blanche as his muse…

Okay, that’s pushing it.

Aside from the song parody from the original intro singing, “Waiting for my chance to blow you… away,” one of the funniest things that tickled my sick sense of humor this morning was the tagline: “A XXX MILF Parody.” Shouldn’t that be GMILF? Either way, I’ll never look at the Golden Girls the same way again, and you probably won’t either.
