For those of us who’ve read the Harry Potter books, we all know how the series ends, but there are many who’ve only indulged in the film franchise. For those anxiously awaiting the conclusion of the story, the day is nearly upon us.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final book in the series will be split into two films. Part One is set for a November 19, 2010, release date while the second film will drop sometime in 2011.

Harry, Ron and Hermione band together to destroy the horcruxes created by the evil Voldemort, who split his soul in order to ensure his essence could never be destroyed. Without the physical aid of their mentor, Albus Dumbledore, the ancient wizard left clues in his wake for the trio to follow in order to solve the mystery and face their enemy once and for all.

I have been a fan of the Harry Potter franchise since my daughter was knee-high to a grasshopper.

Despite the liberties taken by the host of different directors who have worked on the films, seeing J.K. Rowling’s vision come to life on the big screen has been an amazing journey.

Even though we have to wait another five months to see the first half of the story’s conclusion, I am already planning a big Harry Potter party in celebration. Start putting your costume together now, cuz it’s gonna be HUGE!
