During a recent appearance on The Daily Show, Morgan Freeman grabbed the opportunity to talk about his science special Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman.

The special takes on the humongous task of trying to explain the origin of the universe. Normally, I would gasp at any actor trying to take on this feat. But Morgan Freeman’s voice is the wisest voice I’ve ever heard…if anyone could explain the universe’s origin, surely it’s him.

Just about every answer that Freeman gave to each of Jon Stewart’s questions made The Daily Show host crack up. Which taught me the lesson that not only is Freeman wise—he’s also extremely funny. I think I’m falling in love.

To me, the highlight of the time Freeman spent on the show was his proclamation, “I’m only going to live another 30, 40 years.

So whatever’s going to happen to the universe…it doesn’t concern me. I’m not going to be here.”

Is it wrong for me to admit how big of a crush I have on this man? In fact, ever since Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, a little part of my heart has belonged to the ever-wise and ever-hilarious Morgan Freeman.
