The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on TV Tour, starring Conan O’Brien, continues to rage across America, tickling the funny bones of everyone who has missed O’Brien’s brand of hilarity over the last few months.
Those who managed to score tickets to see the Radio City Music Hall show Tuesday, June 1, in New York were in for an even more special treat than usual, when Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert made special appearances on stage.
Colbert, Stewart and O’Brien danced absurdly across the stage, an act which ended with Stewart falling to the floor in his death.
The funniest part was when Colbert was leaning over him talking to him about what he saw beyond the light.
Colbert finished things off by asking, “Jon, Jon… before you go… can I have eleven o’clock.”
You know as well as I do, the tragic hilarity of Conan O’Brien’s walking away from NBC is not going away anytime soon, and I for one am glad to see them mocking Jay Leno without even saying the man’s name. The less we say his name, the less power it gives him. Kind of like a troll or the boogey man or Freddy Krueger.
Long live Team Coco! Now go watch these jesters dance!
