Twilight star, Robert Pattinson teamed up with Tom Cruise, who reprised his role as Les Grossman from the Tropic Thunder film, to promote the MTV Movie Awards.

Pattinson, who’s looked pretty scruffy when he’s not playing sparkly vampire, Edward Cullen, tells Grossman he’s planning to clean up his look for the awards show.

Bad idea, according to potty-mouthed Grossman, who promises to give Pattinson the number of a good plumber now that he’s planning to flush his career down the toilet.

Taking Grossman’s advice, Pattinson decides he’ll use dirt as shampoo the next time he washes his greasy locks, to which Grossman replies, “That’s my dirty dawg.”

All this mayhem is in preparation for the MTV Movie Awards, which are set to kick off on June 6.

The show will be hosted by Aziz Ansari, and special guests will include Sandra Bullock, Steve Carrell, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Taylor Lautner. I have a feeling it’s going to be Twilight-tastic, which is pretty scary, considering I hate those blasted movies, but it’ll definitely draw in the teen crowd.

Either way, I’ve got my golden popcorn set up next to the remote on the table beside my EZ-chair. I’ll be tuning in. How about you?
