Team Coco Presents Conan’s Writers Live is the name of the new special that will be airing on TBS Sunday, June 27 at 10pm (ET/PT). The special will be a giant pile of hilarious Conan O’ Brien type shit that you’ve come to expect and will be funny to the 18-35 male demographic of which I am a part of. Viewers over seventy years of age will be confused by why a dog puppet is saying profane things to Mr. T and, frustrated, shut off the TV and go back to sitting quietly thinking about how in the good old days dogs didn’t talk and Mr. T traveled around in a van fighting crime.

Conan’s national comedy tour has been a huge hit and his transition to TBS is looking like it’s going to be met with enthusiasm. Jay Leno meanwhile is doing comfortable business in Conan’s old spot making boring jokes about the weather and how old John McCain is.

For those of you who want to get a special preview of the special you can get tickets to go see it live at the Bank of America Theater in Chicago on Thursday, June 17 at 7pm (CT). Or, failing that, you can get your tallest friend, give them a red wig, and tell them to be self-effacing while a Latin guy with a trumpet sits behind him grinning and shaking his head.
