The news broke this month that Megan Fox will not appear in the third installment of the Transformers films. Apparently Fox had a falling out with director Michael Bay because he thought she looked “underweight” and too “pale.” But Fox made it publicly clear that it was her decision to leave the movie and that she wasn’t fired.

So who will be her replacement as a love interest? None other than the gorgeous, British Victoria’s Secret model Rosie-Huntington-Whiteley, 23.

Transformers 3 will be Huntington-Whiteley’s first acting gig. For some reason, I don’t think everyone’s expectations for the role will be very high. After all, we all know Megan Fox’s acting skill level.

If something goes wrong during contract discussions, we can all breathe freely—there are two back-ups for the role. Actress Sarah Wright (House Bunny—yes, that’s her most notable credit) or Sports Illustrated cover model Brooklyn Decker will take over the job if is proves to be too difficult for Huntington-Whiteley. Which, again, I don’t imagine happening. The only way, in my opinion, that Huntington-Whitely will back out of the role is if she isn’t offered enough money to forever taint her career with this film on her resume.
