We’ve all heard it before… cheaters never win, and so goes another day in the life of famous cheater Jesse James, who broke Sandra Bullock’s heart with multiple extramarital affairs.
James, now known as the most hated man in the world, finally sat down with Vicki Mabrey on ABC’s Nightline to spill the beans about his cheating ways. Media is calling it one of the biggest cheating scandals of the year.
From the beginning, tabloids and media felt that Bullock and James were a mismatched couple, but James disagreed, stating, “We probably had a lot more in common than not.” Despite her refusals to date him, James continued to woo her, courting her via email with sweet nothings that eventually won the actress over.
Shortly after the news about Bullock winning her first Oscar, word hit the streets that James was cheating when Michelle McGee sold the story of her affair with James to the tabloids.
What a jerk… both McGee and James. Nothing like being the other woman, but to jealously sabotage the innocent wife with a tabloid story? McGee deserves to be thrown into a hole and forgotten about, not rewarded monetarily for being a home wrecker.
James admits it doesn’t matter how many women he cheated on Bullock with. The fact that he cheated is enough. To hear James say he never wanted to hurt her makes me want to reach through the video and strangle him. Even worse, to hear him say he doesn’t know why he did it??? Gah!
He claimed later that he was trying to sabotage himself by cheating. He didn’t feel like he was good enough for anyone, especially his beautiful wife. James then told Mabrey that he faced many of his childhood demons in rehab. Raised by his father, James admitted his father was physically and emotionally abusive, which led to much of his self-loathing.
Okay, so the next time I decide to be an idiot in my life, can I blame the fact that I was abused as a child too? I mean, come on. So many people were abused. It sucks, and it shapes you as a person, but it’s not an excuse to be a cheater or a killer.
Sorry, Jesse James. I don’t feel sorry for you. Call me cold and callous, but as adults, we need to take responsibility for our actions, no matter what happened to us as children.
What do you think? Is this video enough to exonerate James for his cheating ways?
