All of you Bachelor and Bachelorette fans must be tired from the two-hour season premiere last night! Ali Fedotowsky is our Bachelorette for 2010.
You don’t remember Ali? Then you definitely didn’t watch last season’s The Bachelor with Jake Pavelka. She was the only woman on the show who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and who still managed to be charming and classy throughout the whole thing. I, personally, was rooting for Ali from the beginning, and I was bummed that she wasn’t the woman Jake picked.
But now, in retrospect, I’m stoked that Ali didn’t end up with Jake. After all, he was something of a tool, and Ali’s way too awesome to be with a tool. And, Ali chose her career over staying on The Bachelor.
I have to say that I would have made the exact same choice, Ali. So I applaud you.
So now, Ali has the chance to find her Mr. Right during The Bachelorette. Monday’s season premiere had Ali giving away 17 roses and cutting eight unlucky dudes. But I have to say (and I don’t think I’m alone here)—none of these guys tickled my fancy. I actually found myself wondering if a few of them might be mentally challenged.
But, I’m not Ali (definitely not Ali—I would never go on television to talk about how crappy being single is and trying to find a man out of a group of boys whose only dream is to appear on a reality show), so maybe she will find her Mr. Right…or at least get some booty in the process.
