Bret Michaels Back in Hospital

Who could forget the scare that Bret Michaels had in April? The Celebrity Apprentice cast member and Poison front man had suffered a brain hemorrhage and was continuing to improve.

That is, until now.  Bret is back in the hospital after suffering from a “warning stroke.” The rocker’s Facebook page reported that he was admitted back into the hospital after “suffering numbness on the left side of his body.” He was later diagnosed as having had a Transient Ischematic Attack (TIA), also known as a warning stroke.

An Ultrasound Bubble test of Bret’s heart was performed, and doctors found a hole in his heart classified as a Patent Forum Ovale. The reality star’s neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph Zabramski, stated, “There is no doubt that the positive Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) is devastating news to Bret and his family. The good news is that it is operable and treatable and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or warning stroke.”

This poor guy can’t seem to catch a break. He has suffered from diabetes for years, then had a brain hemorrhage, and now has had a warning stroke. What’s going on? All I can hope is that Bret Michaels will recover quickly and will find good health soon.
