Megan Fox Not in Transformers 3

Let’s be honest—none of us really knew who actress Megan Fox was until she landed a starring role in Transformers in 2007. Don’t get me wrong—she had acted in several television shows prior to that, but it was only when Fox appeared on the screen fighting robots that we all perked up. Who is that mysterious girl?

Now, Megan Fox is a household name. Men drool over her—well, and some women do, too. So why is she not going to be appearing in the upcoming Transformers 3 (which is set to come out in July 2011)?

Rumors have been spread all over the Internet saying that Fox was fired from the film, but in a statement to People Magazine, the actress puts all suspicions aside.

Fox’s reps reportedly states, “Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3. It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Way to not cause any sort of controversy at all, Megan.

But don’t think that you won’t be seeing the actress on the screen anytime soon. She’s preparing for the June 18th release of Jonah Hex, an action movie that she stars in alongside John Malkovich, Will Arnett, and Josh Brolin.

But the question remains: will bowing out of Transformers 3 hurt or help Megan’s career?
