I know what you’re thinking. ‘Another blog post about Bret Michaels? Geez, what’s new with his brain hemorrhage?” But no, folks. I will not be discussing Bret’s recent brush with fatality. I will be discussing his appearance in a television series.

Yes. I said television series. And it’s not Rock of Love.

We’ve seen Bret on reality shows for years now, but this time it’s a stop motion comedy called Glenn Martin, DDS. Never heard of it? I hadn’t, either. It’s a Nick at Night series about a traveling dentist (voiced by the hilarious Kevin Nealon of Weeds) and all of the shenanigans that he gets into. With a cast including Nealon, Judy Greer (27 Dresses, Arrested Development) and Catherine O’Hara (Away We Go, For Your Consideration), of course it’s a funny show.

The series’ second season is set to start out with a bang on June 11th at 10:30 p.m. EST—that bang being Bret Michaels! Bret will guest star, playing himself, on the season premiere. (He voiced the episode prior to his health scare, if you’re wondering.)

Other celebrity guest stars for the second season of Glenn Martin, DDS include Ellen Page, Betty White, John Corbett, Mel Brooks, Cher Oteri, Jimmy Kimmel, and more.

I hadn’t heard of Glenn Martin, DDS until now…and it looks like it’s time for me to start watching it.
