There is something truly fascinating about westerns and outlaws. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I love to watch movies where people are running from, or are, the law. This week is a tribute to those movies that understand the value of a good horse or a good gunfight.

I know Smokey and the Bandit, Part 3 is not a western, but it is one of the funniest outlaw/running from the law movies ever.  Jackie Gleason plays Sherriff Buford T. Justice a lawman desperate to catch Smokey and the bandit as the transport a fake shark from Miami to Texas.

Take a step back into “the good old days” and enjoy your week of outlaws, gambling and police chases.
