Civil rights activist and former adviser to President Bill Clinton, Vernon Jordan, made a guest appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of The Good Wife with Juliana Marguilies. Jordan is known as the lawyer who assisted Monica Lewinsky during the height of Clinton’s sexual scandal, a choice that shocked the public because of his relationship to the former President of the United States.

In his first ever appearance as a character on television. Jordan starred as himself in the episode titled “Unplugged.” He portrayed an underhanded, hard-edged and controversial lawyer with a hidden agenda.

Word on the CBS drama series was that Jordan was snooping around the firm, and possibly interested in becoming a partner.

Later in the show, Diane offered him a three-way split partnership in the firm, to which he replied, “I’m sorry. I want to buy you out. Is that not what you want?”

Jordan, aside from his political endeavors, is also on the board of directors of a number of major companies, including J.C. Penny, Xerox, Sara Lee and Revlon.

Known for his participation in a number of controversial cases and issues, it was an interesting role for Vernon Jordan to play, and the world is now wondering if we’ll see him on television again soon.
