J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg are two of the most famous and successful filmmakers of our time. Abrams is the producer and writer for popular shows including Lost and Fringe and has also had his hand in a variety of movies such as Armageddon and Mission Impossible: III. Spielberg has his own long career of success being involved in a wide variety of films and television shows including Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan, and Jurassic Park, just to name a very few.

Now, the two entertainment geniuses have joined forces for the upcoming film Super 8, which has caused quite a stir due to the lack of information available about it. (Though you can read some good information here.)

But audiences finally have the chance to catch a peek of what the movie’s all about, as a bootleg version of the trailer shown before Iron Man 2 has leaked online.

What does the trailer tell us? “In 1979, the U.S.

Air Force closed a section of Area 51. All the materials were to be transported to a secure facility in Ohio.” Then we watch a tragic train wreck…and catch sight of an overturned Air Force container car that has something inside trying to get free. We can pretty much assume that the movie is going to focus on aliens of some sort. But don’t get excited, folks—this is not a sequel to Cloverfield, as many fans speculated.

So what is this mysterious film really about? And will it live up to the hype? Check out the official site here and trailer below.
