David Boreanaz Cheated on Wife Jaime Bergman

Unfortunately, extra-marital affairs aren’t necessarily a rare thing in the Hollywood world. We’ve all read about the tons of actors and actresses whose indiscretions were made public. Now it’s time to add one more actor to that list: David Boreanaz.

Boreanaz can currently be seen on Bones; however, he may be best known for his role as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spinoff series Angel.

Boreanaz and actress and Playboy Playmate Jaime Bergman have been married for nine years; they have two children together (8 years old and 8 months old). So why did Boreanaz come forward and admit to People that he had an affair? He says that his mistress threatened to go public with it.

The actor says, “I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with. She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.” Yup—sounds like blackmail to me, Davey boy.

Boreanaz and Bergman are now working on their marriage. Boreanaz reports, “We’re working on repairing what has been damaged so badly.”
