To say that I love Betty White, 88, would be an understatement. Over the past year or so, she has lit up the headlines and television screens with her quirky sense of humor and intense talent.

So I, like loads of others, am very excited about Betty’s upcoming gig hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend (May 8^th). Monday morning (May 3^rd), Betty made a brief appearance on Today to talk with Meredith Vieria about her upcoming hosting gig.

It was a funny and refreshing interview that I simply couldn’t go without sharing.

My favorite part of the clip is when Betty revealed that she put her foot down when it came to nudity on SNL. She won’t go nude…or, as she says, you’ll see “very little nudity” from her on Saturday evening. After being asked to host the late night show in the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, Betty finally accepted the invitation due to her agent’s coaxing.

So if you need a little giggle to get your day started (and who doesn’t need a jump start on a Monday), take ten minutes and watch this video. And then imagine what it would be like to have Betty White as your grandmother, like I did. I’m pretty sure she’d keep me entertained for hours.
