Tuesday, April 27, marked the return of everyone’s favorite MTV reality series, The Hills,. and one of the best parts about the premier of season six was all the flack Heidi Montag got from her family over her recent plastic surgery extravaganza.
While on a trip to Colorado to visit her immediate family, Montag went out to dinner with them and found herself at the butt of a number of jokes inspired by her plastic surgery.
Montag’s mother, Darlene, was convinced her daughter wanted to be like Barbie, to which Heidi declaired, “I do want to look like Barbie.” Montag’s sister Holly was baffled by Heidi’s choices, noting how confident and outgoing her sister always was, a confidence her sister always envied.
During dinner, the jokes boil over when Holly asks Heidi about her burger, and Heidi says, “I can’t chew it.”
While I do understand Heidi’s emotional response to her family’s teasing, the issues she faces are obviously much deeper than wanting to look like a Barbie doll. I’m no psychiatrist, but I’d love to see some sessions of Montag on the couch discussing the demon that keeps compelling her to go under the knife.
No one likes to be teased, obviously, but when you deliberately go out of your way to draw attention to yourself, you’re going to attract attention. You can always count on your family to call your bluff when you’ve done something bizarre, and I find myself hoping for the first time in her life, Heidi Montag has to take a real long look at herself.

Heidi was one of the most beautiful blond chicks ever, now she's just another blond, and maybe crazy!
