ABC announced Wednesday morning soccer superstar David Beckham is scheduled to sit down with the ladies of The View, Monday, April 26, 2010, for the first time ever.

Beckham recently scheduled a break from soccer to have his torn Achilles tendon repaired, which was damaged while playing AC Milan. Hopefully he will let fans and viewers know when he might return to the field during the interview.

Beckham has been playing professional soccer since 1987, and is currently on loan to AC Milan from Los Angeles Galaxy. He is married to music icon, former Spice Girl and business woman extraordinaire, Victoria Beckham, who appeared as a co-host on The View herself back in February.

The View airs daily on ABC at 11 a.m.
