I can tell you right now what Jack Bauer wouldn’t do. He wouldn’t get completely tossed and start walking the streets of London taking his clothes off, that’s for sure. Bauer’s doppleganger, Kiefer Sutherland, on the other hand, was spotted in the streets of London last night around 4 a.m., drunk, stumbling and taking his shirt off. Maybe he was showing off Jack Bauer’s scars, I’m not sure, or mourning the loss of Baeur’s most recent love interest, who died Monday night on 24.

Reports say Sutherland was first spotted drinking around 2 a.m., when he left one venue and was driven to a nearby strip club. Bouncers from the club escorted a drunk and shirtless Sutherland out the back door of the club around 4 a.m., and some reports say they were toting him from the club in a headlock.

The club owner said this was not the case, but they were kindly escorting him out the back to protect him from the paparazzi.

This is not the first time Sutherland has been in the news for drunken behavior, having been arrested in 2007 on a drunk driving misdemeanor, and charged with DUI in 2004.

My thoughts? Maybe he’s doing all the things Jack Bauer really can’t do because he’s got the weight of the world on his shoulders all the time. You know, exercising Bauer’s demons and all that.
