Finally! We know what’s going to happen to Conan O’Brien. Upon announcing the news that O’Brien will be joining TBS Late Night, George Lopez took the opportunity to have O’Brien on his show last night to congratulate him and welcome him to the TBS team.

“But, I thought Conan couldn’t appear on TV, as per his NBC contract,” you say? Lopez found a way around that old thing, borrowing an old sketch from O’Brien himself.

The duo cracked a few jokes about holding the Catholic audience, and Lopez admitted he was glad O’Brien would be there to help him battle The Family Guy time slot. Of course, Stewie Griffin showed up to put in his two cents about the whole thing, and then Jay Leno tried to horn in on the interview with news about The Tonight Show.

I have to say, I have been watching George Lopez a lot before bed these days, and this is why. Lopez is a funny guy, with a fresh perspective and a great sense of humor. With Lopez and Conan back to back on the late night circuit, TBS’s ratings are going to soar through the roof.

Watch out NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX. Coco is coming back, and he’s going to make you rue the day.
