Bridget Marquardt’s New Reality Show

Bridget Marquardt—why does that name sound so familiar? She was one of three women who starred on the first few seasons of E!’s The Girls Next Door, a reality show that depicted life as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends living in the Playboy Mansion. And, she just happens to be my favorite from the show.

It seems as though Bridget is about to be back on the silver screen with a new reality show. She revealed that the show will focus on “life after the Mansion” as well as her relationship with movie director boyfriend Nicholas Carpenter. You have to wonder what it’s like to be dating a woman who once dated (and, we have to assume, slept with) Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner.

But Carpenter doesn’t seem too stressed out about the upcoming reality show. In his own words: “I’ve been on Kendra like 700 times now, so I think I’ll be fine.” Sure you do. But I wonder if your viewpoint will change once you realize that the cameras will be constantly on you instead of just for a little while. After all, this movie director is used to working behind the camera…not in front of it.
