So while a good number of folks were celebrating Easter and/or out buying the brand new iPad, I was scouring the Internet looking for news!

If Kate Gosselin’s diva-like behavior wasn’t enough drama to fuel the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, more drama has surfaced.  Poor Erin Andrews, who recently put her stalker behind bars and is now dancing on the show, has now been receiving death threats.  E! Online reports that over a dozen threatening emails and phone calls have been sent to the star.  ”As soon as we learned of them, the FBI was notified,” attorney Marshall B. Grossman said. “They are on the case. Erin and her family are protected.”  Dancing with the Stars has beefed up their security just in case.

Kal Penn starred in the Harold & Kumar films before heading over to the House crew to play one of Dr.

House’s minions.  His character committed suicide on the show after Penn announced his departure from acting to join the White House staff as associate director of public engagement.  Entertainment Weekly claims Penn will be leaving his White House position to work on the next installment of the Harold & Kumar film series, but as of Sunday it couldn’t be confirmed.

The Game seems to be getting a reprisal.  The CW sitcom was dumped and the cast let go last May, but BET is renegotiating contracts to start airing new episodes on their cable network.  BET will be producing the show in conjunction with CBS Studios and the majority of the cast is expected to return.  The Game is a spin off of the popular show Girlfriends.

An earthquake hit yesterday in California and while power went out for a good portion of the state, it seems that everyone was OK.  Twitter was flooded with celebrity tweets about the incident with television stars like Rainn Wilson tweeting humorously, “Couldn’t tell if that was an earthquake or if Matt Damon was angry.”

That wraps up this weekend’s news!  Tune in next week to find out what news surfaced while you were out enjoying this beautiful weather!
