Pop-icon and actress, Miley Cyrus, sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to promote the release of her latest movie, “The Last Song.” While on the show, Cyrus and Kimmel talked about her father, Billy Ray Cyrus’, appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

Cyrus admitted she was sad to see her dad get kicked off, but her father was actually happy, as it allowed him to cut back on the work outs, and up his cheeseburger intake.

One of the funniest things about this video is the minute and a half at the beginning, when Kimmel is talking to a young man in the audience who bedazzled his shirt just for Miley, and made her a mix CD of love songs to let her know how he felt. Apparently the kid didn’t want to make the songs too obvious, and avoided adding any songs by Miley Cyrus or any of her singing cast members on Hannah Montana.

Cyrus stars in the recently released film The Last Song, adapted from a Nicholas Sparks novel. The Last Song tells the story of a young woman and her estranged father, who are reunited over summer break, but have difficulty finding common ground. Their mutual love of music may be strong enough to bring them back together, if they can set aside the past hurts holding them apart. The Last Song is in theatres now.
