Sunday night on The Simpsons, Mrs. Krabappel took an extended leave of absence, forcing Bart’s class to merge with the other fourth graders in the school. As they entered their new classroom, each student had to pair up and share a desk with another student in the classroom. The kids settled into their new seats, and Bart found himself sitting with a sassy little girl who criticized him for drawing, then let him draw a robot barfing screws on her arm with a Sharpie marker.
Not sure how he felt about her, he went home to ask Homer for advice. Being too busy to help him out, Homer sent Bart to Grandpa Simpson, who told him to kiss the girl.
During recess the next day, the two found themselves showing off skateboard tricks and skills, and it seemed as if Bart had met his match at last. Not only was she amazing on the skateboard, she was pretty too. The two skateboard to the top of the sliding board, where Bart plants one on her.
The whole thing results in a lawsuit threat by the girl’s parents, which forces Principal Skinner to ban all affection and touching in the school. Bart’s love-interest keeps leading him on, confusing him at every turn, until he falls off the top of the school and she think’s he’s dead.
The ban on affection prohibits anyone from helping Bart until the ambulance comes, but the sassy girl can’t stand to see him suffer, so sweeps in to give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. As their lips touch, a string of classic TV kisses play amidst dramatic, romantic music. Did you see your favorite romantic kiss?
