Who is independent, Swedish musician FreddeGredde? Until this morning, I literally had no idea he even existed, but when he popped up in the buzz with the words “TV Theme Medley” next to his name, I got curious. The words TV and medley, for some reason have the power to reel me in like a fish on a hook, especially if there are theme songs involved. Just about everyone can relate to having a theme song or two stuck in their head, and if this seven minute medley doesn’t get lodged firmly into your brain, I will not consider my job here done.

This video is almost 7 minutes of pure medley goodness. Combining the themes from so many great television shows, from The Simpsons and The X-Files to Married with Children and Charles in Charge. One of the coolest things about this video is that Freddie performs both parts, side by side with himself just like Hayley Mills in the original Parent Trap.

It just goes to show, moms and dads out there concerned that your kids are watching too much television, TV can lead to really creative and artistic endeavors. Many kids inspired by Japanese anime may start drawing, and you may even have the next iCarly living right under your own roof.
