Okay, this not only grossed me out, but had me wondering if Steve Francis really had no idea he was on camera, or in public for that matter. Then I thought, as I watched him dig deeper and deeper, maybe he was doing it on a dare. The expression on his face suggests he knows exactly what he’s doing, but why? Why would he do that on national TV?
This isn’t the first time a celebrity athlete was caught in the act, doing something disgusting. On the bright side, I suppose picking one’s nose is better than cheating on one’s spouse. On the other hand, if I saw my significant other on national television digging for gold, I’d be pretty appalled.
It just goes to show that Steve Francis is really comfortable sitting in a crowd. So comfortable, in fact, that I’d wager if we kept the camera on him, we could catch him doing a whole list of unsavory things. I mean, how do we know he didn’t eat that when he was done, wipe it on the guy sitting next to him, or pass it off in a handshake?
All I know is if I ever run into Steve-o anywhere, I’m gonna decline a handshake. You probably should too.
