Why would they cancel this show. From the first episode I saw I loved it. And then they just canceled it. They didn’t even end it at a good point. I need to know more!!

Problem is that cable shows like on USA are far superior in entertainment, usually. When a great program like The Forgotten shows up on network television, it takes more time to get noticed and 6 months of eval is not enough. Same with Christian Slater in the other TV series where he was a sleeper agent. Cancelled after only a few episodes made it to the screen. Look like a cool idea for a show and poof it was gone. Oh well, back to USA for Burn Notice, White Collar, Fairly Legal and whatever else they put on there.

How could ABC canel a show that was so lovely, so haunting and so beautiful. This show had heart and soul. The idea of the show,this group giving everythingup to help others is so altruistic and lovley: I can’t believe that this show was not loved by TV viewers show. PLEASE ABC. Please bring “THE FORGOTTEN” back on the air.

I didn’t know that The Forgotten was cancelled. It was one of my favorite TV shows. Cancelling was a big mistake!!! The show was informative and inspiring. ABC, you screwed yourself again.

It’s just like every other network…putting on all these stupid reality shows instead of keeping something worthy like the Forgotten on. Soooo sick fo the reality shows!

Anyone have answers to that? Why say she is missing? It has enough merit that his daughter doesn’t have to still be missing. Changing this story line just makes people not want to watch

I never knew the show was cancelled. lol I watched the season finale of season 1 & was glad Alex found his daughter. BUT…now I am soooo disappointed in season 2. They start it off and did anyone else realize that his daughter is STILL MISSING in this episode? Why did they find her at the end of season 1 and then start season 2 off with her still missing? Makes no sense and I was so disappointed in ABC.

I live in New Zealand and absolutely LOVE The Forgotten which just started airing here a few weeks ago. It’s being paired with Criminal Minds afterwards so a GOOD lineup. I’m crushed it’s being axed, ABC needs to give this show more of a chance, or one of the other networks needs to pick it up, I here they do that in the U.S.

BTW DKZ, totally with you, I will NOT watch the Good Wife, or Desperate HouseSkanks, or any of the other crap that the other channels are currently offering in that time slot.

Very disappointed, I wasn’t even aware the show was cancelled until now I just thought the season ended. I was even looking forward to the next season which is not happening! The Forgotten was one of the only shows I watched. Not happy about the cancellation of a great show at all !!

I’m so sick of ABC, they have again screwed up another show!!! What a wonderful show, what a loss to all the fans. This is why I don’t watch TV very often, you find something good and they take it away. I’m sure it will be replaced with crap that I would never watch.

Easily one of my favourite shows on television today, just finished watching the final episode, and it was outstanding. I pray that ABC reconsiders, but now that Christian Slater has moved on to FOX, I suppose it’s too late. Horrible decision ABC, The Forgotten was excellent. I’m just thankful they were able to do a proper finale that tied up the loose ends so they have a sense of closure. Either way, I would have loved to see more of The Forgotten.

ABC is horrible. How can they cancel this show and Eastwick. They were both so good. I especially loved this show.

I am so disappointed that they canceled the forgotten. They don’t even give it a chance. It is a fantastic show. What a disappointment. An intellectual show and of course you idiots cancel the program. You can’t even let it finish a full season. Shame on you!!!

I can’t believe that the network has cancelled this show. This was one show that I actually looked forward to and could watch with my teenage daughter. There aren’t enough shows that you can watch as a family without language or nudity anymore. Please reconsider and put this show back on the air!! Look at all these comments, you haven’t given it enough time or someone hasn’t done their homework.

I agree with the posts on here. ABC was not consistent in airing the episodes after the new year either. Some weeks episodes were just there even trailers for the next episodes didn’t state when the next episode would be. ABC failed this show and it was the only show my family and I watched on ABC.

I really liked this show. It was different than all the other shows out there. Christian Slater was awesome. At least they ended the story line with a resolution to his daughter’s abduction.

I can not believe ABC would be sooooo stupid to cancel such a wonderful show. With all the crap on t.v. these days this was such a great show that my family looked forward to watching every week. Way to go ABC….I hope another (better) network will pick them up and take away from ABC time slots. BAD move ABC

I watched the show last night as I have faithfully since its beginning. As soon as Alex found his daughter it sounded the death knell to me. I found that another of my favorite shows has been cancelled. What’s going to replace it? Another stupid reality show, with people and problems I could care less about or another good show I’ll like and the powers that be will cancel.
