Gossip Girl is back after a month on hiatus. Watching this show is like a high school dance; parts are awkward and make you nervous, but, when it’s all over you sure did have a good time.   On the Upper East Side Serena and Nate moving in together and finding it hard to keep their hands off themselves.  Everyone keeps telling them to take it slow. However there seems to be only one speed for them, fast and furious.

Everyone is placing on attending the French Ambassador’s dinner.  Serena conveniently bumps into an old acquaintance on the street, Damian. This dude is also Jenny’s drug dealing pal.  Jenny is turning into quite the little villain. Jenny and Damian are concocting a plain to get drug to the French Ambassador’s daughter.

 Jenny makes a jacket that has the drugs concealed in the jacket. The plan goes south when Nate tries to slow things down with Serena. He tells her he is not taking her to the dinner, so she calls up Damian and he jumps at the chance to take her on. Damian gives the jacket to Serena, to wear and she refuses to take it off. When Nate and Serena get down and dirty in the coat check room, the coat is thrown on the floor and Jenny comes to the rescue and gets the coat relayed to the French Ambassador’s daughter.

Chuck has a sneaking suspicion that his mother might be alive and he spends most the episode trying to find her. Blair can think of nothing but climbing the social ladder, while Chuck is in pain. She finally has a moment of humanity and thinks of someone else besides herself.

It seems that Damien and Jenny may be moving into the limelight this season. A change will be good with me.  I enjoyed this episode and by the looks of next week’s preview, that episode is going to be good too.
