Who Do You Think You Are? (8:00 p.m. EST, NBC)

It’s a fact that our society is obsessed with celebrities. We buy magazines that feature their faces, we read tabloid headlines that tell of their personal trauma, and we scour the television for programs featuring our favorite stars. This program is perfect for all those star-obsessed people out there. On tonight’s part of this seven-part program, Sarah Jessica Parker charts her ancestry that leads her to Salem, Massachusetts and Northern California. Lisa Kudrow of Friends fame serves as an executive producer for this program.
Shameless (9:00 p.m. EST, SUNDe)

I love the Sundance channel. I’m always sure to find interesting shows or films when I flip to it. One of their best programs is Shameless, a series about a group of young siblings who were abandoned by their parents and are doing their best to survive in Manchester. On tonight’s episode, Mandy (Samantha Siddall) is arrested on a drug-related charge and finds herself forming a connection with Tom (Michael Legge). Then she helps him search for his birth mother. Talk about bonding.
The Soup Awards (10:00 p.m. EST, E!)

Joel McHale is one of my favorite people to watch. He’s pretty good-looking, which doesn’t hurt, but his main draw is how freaking funny he is. Tonight, get a double dose of Joel with The Soup Awards, where the host spotlights awkwardly hilarious moments in pop culture and hands out awards when necessary.
