Brett Favre On Jay Leno (Video)

Brett Favre went on The Tonight Show to talk to Jay Leno about his future in football.  Is it time to retire?

Many think it’s time, many think it’s not, but in true Brett Favre style he has not made a decision yet.  When asked if he would return to the Vikings next season, Favre replied, “Well Jay, it’s only been a month, and I know now that I’m just not going to say anything anytime soon, just going to kind of sit back, relax, enjoy the off season.”  He later added, ”I really believe my biggest accomplishment this year was winning over the majority of the Vikings fans.  For so many years, I was hated there.”

Favre joked that he and his entourage (including his priest, mother-in-law, and youngest daughter) were not there to primarily visit Leno.   ”We’re out here to see Hannah Montana … no offense to you (Leno), but Hannah Montana rules.”

Before the interview ended, (and after teasing Favre for his own version of “Pants On The Ground“) Leno presented Favrre with a “retirement” present- a gold watch.  Leno joked that it was given to him last May when he ended his long run on The Tonight Show for the first time, claiming he can’t use it now.  Favre smiled and said, ”Thank you, but I haven’t made a decision yet, Jay.  I’ll take the watch.”

Honestly, I think the 40 year-old quarterback is holding out for a ring and I’m sure I’m not the only one with that opinion.  Do you think Favre should return or retire?
