For a minute, I thought I was watching an episode of Saturday Night Live, as the long arm of cast members who’ve portrayed presidents from Jimmy Carter through Barack Obama. Either that, or I’d woke up in Disney’s Hall of Presidents. The former Presidents of the United States, or rather the former Presidents of SNL, had all gathered in the White House master bedroom to offer President Obama some advice.
With the weight of the country on his shoulders, President Obama finds himself on the brink of a sleepless night, and he’s been smoking like a chimney. There are so many issues that need to be addressed, issues that the America people want solved. As one by one, Presidents of the last five decades enter the bedroom and offer him advice, it becomes clear that President Obama’s main objective in the White House is cleaning up all the messes made by those who served before him.
Funny or Die finished off this hilarious presidential reunion sketch with an urge for people to call their Senators about the CFPA, as nothing annoys the senate more than having to do their jobs. While I’ve never really been an avid political mind, I do think that the longer we sit back and let others make our choices without our input, the harder it will be for us to make our voices heard. I also think these presidential mockeries are still some of the funniest ever made. SNL really knows how to pick a president.
