The Middle (8:30 p.m. EST, ABC)

These quirky family sitcoms keep coming and coming. On tonight’s episode of The Middle, Brick (Atticus Shaffer) is under serious pressure to kick butt at the upcoming regional spelling bee. All of the excitement about Brick’s spelling talents cause Frankie (the hilarious and cute Patricia Heaton) and Mike (Neil Flynn) to forget Sue’s (Eden Sher) birthday. Good job, guys. Way to be Parents of the Year.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (9:00 p.m. EST, NBC)

On tonight’s episode, Kathy Griffin plays the role of a leader of a lesbian-rights organization who assists the detectives in their investigation of the murder of a member of the organization.

It makes sense that Griffin is playing this role, as she’s fairly active in the gay community and…well, gay people just love her. Meanwhile, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) look into the murders of a few young hookers. Benson gets emotionally involved when one victim (the beautiful Mischa Barton) survives an attempted murder.

Real World DC Ty Ruff 300x300The Real World (10:00 p.m. EST, MTV)

If you saw last week’s episode, you know that it ended with Ty pushing Andrew over a railing and Andrew writhing and moaning on the concrete. Wow. This week, the housemates must decide if they feel safe with Ty as one of their roommates. My vote? Kick the dude out. He needs serious anger management therapy.
