Everyone loves Elmo, even if he has been perpetually three years old for decades. The sweet little red Sesame Street monster has been charming us both on and off Sesame Street for so long, that I’ve begun to wonder if he can possibly get any cuter.

Yesterday, he appeared as a special guest on The Wendy Williams Show, and serenaded the hostess with his own rendition of her theme song. Complete with special effects and back up dancers, Elmo’s voice blended perfectly into the techno theme as he sang, “How you doin,” to the daytime TV diva.

Elmo stopped by the show to promote his upcoming DVD release: Rainbows and Other Springtime Stories, just in time for spring, which is just nineteen days away! With all the snow that’s been walloping the U.S. this winter, we can all use a little warmth in preparation for spring. What’s warmer than Elmo, who loves everything and everyone?

Sickeningly sweet, this is the type of cute that makes most people want to stick their finger down their throat and bring up dinner, so I’m hoping you haven’t eaten yet today. If you have eaten, maybe you could grab your kids and sit down to watch this together. Seeing your kids get over this little red monster is always fun, unless your kids are teenagers. In which case, you may have to find another excuse to enjoy this video.
