ABC has officially announced the Dancing With The Stars parings for 2010 and you may be surprised at who is trying their hand at ballroom dancing. This year the stars range from a real moon walker to a reality star.

Buzz Aldrin

Buzz is an astronaut, of course, and will be the oldest contestant this year, toping the charts at 80. I just hope he doesn’t break a hip. Who am I kidding? This guy is probably in better health than me.

Shannen Doherty

Shannen stared in Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed. Shannen’s co-stars, Jennie Garth and Ian Ziering, also appeared in past seasons of DWTS and both made it to the semi-finals.

Pamela Anderson

Pamela has some experience in dance, of course, most of it involves a large pole.

I think she may be a little top heavy to be light on her feet.

Niecy Nash

Nash is currently a cast member of the show Reno 911. She is feisty and outspoken on the show. Let’s hope she can add some of that on this season.

Nicole Scherzinger

To be honest, I had no idea who this girl was.  Apparently, she is a Pussycat Doll with a solo album soon to be released.

Chad Ochocinco

Ochocinco is a football player like many other contestants before him. Rumor has it he is wild, which should bring some excitement to the show.

Kate Gosselin

Kate is a going to be performing minus eight. Kate is a reality TV and media star. America can’t get enough of this mom.

Erin Andrews

Erin is an ESPN sports reporter. She shas beauty and elegance but I am not sure if she has the dancing skills to win.

Aiden Turner

Aiden is a model and actor mostly known for his role as Aiden Devane on ABC’s All My Children.

Jake Pavelka

Jake, The Bachelor, found love with Vienna on air. He should be spending time with her instead of doing yet another reality show.

I’m not sure who my favorite is at this point.  I really hope Niecy Nash is in for a while, just to see the drama. What do you think of this year’s lineup?
