NAACP Image Awards (8:00 p.m. EST, FOX)

The 41^st Annual NAACP Image Awards kicks off tonight. The event honors those contributions to the arts made by people of color. Nominees for the Chairman’s Awards for distinguished public service and outstanding achievement include Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman (my personal favorite), Jamie Foxx, Lenny Kravitz, Sandra Bullock (don’t ask me–I thought she was white), Mariah Carey, Zoe Saldana, Mo’Nique, Tracy Morgan, CCH Pounder, Vanessa Williams, Taye Diggs (hot!), LL Cool J, Anthony Anderson, Mekhi Phifer (hot hot!), Jada Pinkett Smith, Whitney Houston (really? Isn’t she a crackhead?), Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, and more. The winner? The notorious Tyler Perry.

Life and Times of Tim (9:30 p.m.

This animated great shouldn’t be missed. On tonight’s episode, Tim (Steve Dildarian) encounters the priest, who’s planning to return to the pulpit after his embarrassing suspension. Also, Tim, Stu (Nick Kroll) and Rodney (Matt Johnson) play hooky in Atlantic City (where else would you play hooky?), where they make acquaintances with a very familiar-looking stripper. Hmm…

Caprica (9:00 p.m. EST, Syfy)

On tonight’s episode, Tamara (Genevieve Buechner) makes a few new gamer friends while haunting the virtual world. Meanwhile, Will (Sina Najafi) and Joseph (Esai Morales) go on a fishing trip and end up baring their souls to one another, and Daniel (the hot Eric Stoltz) feels the need to fight for his career.
