Kirk Cameron sent out a heartfelt plea and prayers to missing actor, Andrew Koenig. Koenig and Cameron co-starred together on the hit 1980s television series, Growing Pains. In Cameron’s statement, he noted that he was very worried about his old friend, and sending prayers out to Koenig and his family. He pleaded with Koenig to call him so they could work things out together in the same fashion their characters once did on the show.

Koenig played the character, Boner, on the show, and best friend to Cameron’s character, Mike Seaver. Koenig has appeared in a handful of productions since his Growing Pains days, and recently finished working on the comedy film DaZe: Vol. Too.

Koenig was last seen in Vancouver, Canada on February 14, and was scheduled to return home on February 16. He never arrived on the return flight to Los Angeles, and his family has not heard from him since. Koenig’s father noted that Andrew was suffering from depression, and sounded despondent when last they spoke. Friends, family and former co-stars are all worried, and look anxiously for word about his whereabouts.

Vancouver police have opened an active missing persons investigation, and are urging anyone who might have information in regards to Koenig’s whereabouts to contact the Vancouver police department.
