Ellen Degeneres has some of the most interesting people on her show, and this week she brought in Tracey Morgan, Danika Patrick, and the most recent cast-off from ABC’s The Bachelor: Gia Allemand.
Reality shows like The Bachelor are notorious for breaking the heart and spirit of those who make it so far into the competition, and when you’re vying for love, you better believe you’re going to get your heart broken.
Gia made it as far as the final three in the competition for Jake Pavelka’s heart, but there were abundant rumors surrounding Allemand’s personal penchant for plastic surgery. She did set the record straight in regards to collagen. Displaying a picture from her childhood, Gia let the world know she had no need for lip injections, as she was born with that beautiful, pouty mouth everyone’s been raving about.
Gia also talked with Ellen about how hard it was to move on after Pavelka sent her home. Seeing what went on behind the scenes with the other girls so many months after the fact brought many of her feelings for Pavelka back into the light, even though she thought she had started to move on.
Gia is dating again, though only just recently, and there are many people in the public opinion that believe Gia Allemand should be the next Bachelorette. Only time will tell, but here’s hoping she finds love on her own before that. Statistics show that these reality television dating series rarely result in long-term happiness.
