Biggest Loser 300x300This week on The Biggest Loser, the contestant’s lives were turned upside down when they were sent to The United States Olympic Training Center. I am fairly positive the only reason they went is because The Biggest Loser and The Olympics both air on NBC and it was a little shameless free publicity that the Olympics start Friday.

The teams packed up and went to Colorado, were they met a parade of Olympians and Para-Olympians.  This week each player will be weighing in for themselves and two people will be going home. Yes, they are bringing back the red line. Which ever contestant has the lowest percentage of weigh loss this week will immediately go home.

Since they were at the Olympic Training Center, the first challenge had a first, second and third place winner.

The players had to get on slide boards and slide back and forth. Each time they hit the side they were given 1 point. The first one to 500 points won. Sam and Melissa were neck and neck for first place, but, at 495 Melissa fell and Sam won. Melissa came in second and Sunshine came in third.

At the immunity challenge, the contestants had to run a lap and then shoot the targets of other players. When your target was shot five times you where out. The winners of the previous challenge got to get in extra shots before the challenge started. Sunshine had one shot and shot Sam’s target. Melissa took Sunshine’s lead and shot out two more of Sam’s targets. Sam had three shots and paid the girls back for there “love.”  During the challenge everyone was taking out the toughest competitors first and left the two older men, Darrell and O’Neal, to fight for immunity. O’neal took Darrell out and won immunity.

When the Players came back to the ranch they had a last chance work out and weigh in.

Melissa was immediately eliminated. This whole episode, I was hoping it was her to fall below the red line. Her game play and napping was getting on my nerves. Darrell and Cheryl fell below the yellow line, but there was a twist. There was no vote just another challenge! The two had to squat under a flame and hold a round stem on their heads. If the stem fell the flame would go out and the last one with fire stays on the ranch.

They continued the show and we will not find out who went home until next week. Next week, the contestants will be placed into two teams and apparently the choice of teams was bad.
