American Idol (8:00 p.m. EST, FOX)
My favorite part of the show is over (the first round of auditions), and it’s time to get serious. That’s right, kids: the Hollywood round starts tonight! This round of American Idol is notable for being the toughest. The singers struggle through auditions and rehearsals, singing with others, and more, all in hopes of moving on and securing a spot in the Top 24. And the great news? Ellen DeGeneres joins the program as a judge starting tonight!
Lost (9:00 p.m. EST, ABC)
So our pals from Oceanic flight 815 now have two timelines to live through: one on the island in present day and one back in the “real world,” as if their flight never crashed.
On tonight’s episode, Kate (Evangeline Lilly) is on the run from the law (what’s new), and Jack (Matthew Fox) is in a position where he must do something that could put the life of a friend in danger.
White Collar (10:00 p.m. EST, USA)
Do you know the premise behind this show? A white collar criminal and FBI agent team up to hunt down and catch other white collar criminals. On tonight’s episode, the team works their magic trying to capture a female thief (I love it when thieves are chicks) who steals valuable items from a collection.
