Motorola, the big cellular phone manufacturer out of Schaumburg, Illinois has decided to jump into the limelight of cast by the NFL’s Super Bowl game. The rumors began right after the 2009 Super Bowl that Motorola would develop their own commercial for 2010 and it seems to be true.
However, Motorola is being very secretive about the project and has only disclosed a simple shot of a very nice looking bathroom as a teaser as to what’s to come. Their also is word spreading that there will be a big star who gets out of or gets into the tub, but they won’t say who that star is.
I don’t know what impact Motorola’s Super Bowl Ad will have, but they certainly get cool points for building up the anticipation. Without a doubt sex sells and it will be interesting who the company chose as the top sexy person, out of all the sexy people in the world, which they would use for their high priced Super Bowl advertising venture.
In 2009 the Super Bowl was watched by some 98 million fans and you just can’t get this volume of media saturation anywhere else, so the last year’s going price of $200,000 per second was well worth it for companies that produced the more appealing ads. Traditionally, many Super Bowl advertisers see a huge sales increase and certainly this is what Motorola expects too. Let’s see who what star they are depending on to make their commercial standout from the crowd.
