Brittany_MurphyToday the L.A. Coroner revealed the autopsy results of Brittany Murphy, the famous television and movie star who died suddenly last  December.  Murphy was 32 when she passed.

Apparently Murphy passed due to a bad case of pneumonia which was complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.  Because of this drug intake, Murphy went into sudden cardiac arrest in the home she shared with her husband Simon Monjack.  All of the drugs taken were prescription so the death was ruled as accidental by the coroner.  A more detailed report shall come in two weeks containing information as to the types of drugs and whether it was an overdose or harmful drug interaction.   Coroner’s investigators went back to Murphy’s home yesterday to gather more information on the drugs she was taking and who prescribed them to her.

Brittany Murphy was born November 10th, 1977, in Atlanta, GA.  She moved with her mother to Burbank, CA when she was 13.  In 1991 she got her first televised role as Frank’s sister on Murphy Brown.  She had a few bit parts before breaking into the Hollywood world with Cluelesswhere she played opposite Alicia Silverstone.  She’s starred in many movies, including Sin City, Uptown Girls, Just Married, 8 Mile and Happy Feet. However, the majority of us television watchers will always remember her best as Luanne Platter from King of the Hill.
