Not safe for work is one of those warnings you see on the subject heading in your email when the contents inside are not safe to view at work. It’s obvious, I realize this, but some people risk it anyway. When you’re at work and have access to the Internet, you deserve a little break now and then, right?
The not safe for work warning is not to be ignored, and not because your boss might walk in on you, or your co-workers might snitch, but because you never know when the television news is going to be live on the scene. A Macquarie Bank employee either didn’t realize the news crew was filming, or figured he wasn’t in direct view of the cameras, as he ogled a naked lady on his computer screen.
Macquarie takes personal computer and Internet usage very seriously, and I imagine they take company humiliation even more to heart. Poor guy’s probably going to lose his job over his little indiscretion.
My advice? The next time you’re thinking about checking out the Hot and Horny Honeys while at work, at least take a minute to make sure there isn’t a camera crew filming behind your desk.
