Lost_Season_6_300x300Whoa! The Lost season premiere had me giddier that a school girl with new patent leather shoes.  I could barely contain the excitement. So let’s get started. The season opened at the end of last season, the Swan station, the bomb, and Juliet hitting the bomb.

We see jack in the plane, with rose. The plane hits a little turbulence and recovers. Through out the episode we get to see all the Losties on the plane.  The camera goes down through the clouds and into the water where we see a sunken Island. Say what? Exactly!  At one point Jack has to save Charlie, who has been in the bathroom for way to long.

He has a bag of drugs lodged in his throat and is arrested for drugs. Everyone is there except for Shannon.

So Kate wakes up in some tree, disoriented, with problems hearing.  She starts screaming like a wild banshee. All the Losties that were at the bomb site were transported to the present day.  Sawyer came flying out of the jungle accusing Jack of killing Juliet, then they were at it. Juliet was yelling help.  They dig her out only to have her die a few seconds latter.  Sayid was with Hurley barely holding on to life.  Jacob appeared to Hurley and to him to take Sayid to a temple with the guitar case he had given him earlier. They try to and a captured by a group of natives living in the temple. Sayid is taken to the sacred pool and the natives take him into the pool. He starts kicking and wiggling.  After the set time he stops and is drug out and laid down, apparently dead.

When the temple people discover that Jacob his dead they go crazy trying to fortify the temple. The Locke doppleganger sent Ben out to get Richard, only the guys that brought Locke’s body came instead. They tried to shoot “Locke” but he disappeared. The smoke monster came and kicked their butts. Ok, the smoke monster was already there. The Locke look-a-like is the smoke monster.  The new Locke monster went out and knocked Richard unconscious and throws him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

In the end, the plane landed in LAX, without Christian’s coffin or Locke’s knives. Kate was able to out smart the marshal again and jumped into a cab with Clare. Jin was arrested for not claiming a bag full of cash he had on him and Sun sat there and let it happen.

After this episode I feel like I have a touch of the vertigo, with all the jumps from the plane to the island and Sayid’s alive, no he’s dead, no he’s alive, no he’s dead and finally he is alive.  I am not complaining, after all, it’s this stuff that keeps me watching.  So now we have it the beginning of the end.
