This episode of The Biggest Loser was one of the most exciting.  The two teams that were sent home on the first day came back to see who would get a chance to stay on the ranch. But that was not the exciting bit.  Around 3:00 a.m. on the day after elimination, Miggy was rushed to the hospital with appendicitis. She was rushed into surgery where they removed her appendix, a cyst and a mass. Miggy is so determined, she walked 13 miles the day after surgery. That is one tough cookie.

Back at the ranch, the other contestants were meeting the blue and yellow teams again. At their weigh in, Alison informed them that who ever won would receive immunity and be the only vote in this week’s elimination.

The weigh-in went as follows:

Blue Team- Victoria -39 Cherita -24

Yellow Team- O’Neal -51 Sunshine -25

The yellow team won, sending the blue team packing again. After their weigh- in the teams had a immunity challenge. There was a line of colored tackling dummies. Each team chose one person to hit the blocking pads on the dummies 1,000 times. The grey and red teams were neck in neck for awhile then Michael from the white team found his groove and pulled a head. Michael won the competition.

The workouts were brutal and all the contestants were hitting the gym hard. Jillian did her thing where she tried to wear people down so she can find out what makes them eat.

At the weigh-in, the white team and the yellow team had immunity.

John had the lowest percentage of weight loss and was immediately eliminated.  This week Melissa didn’t act crazy although she did cry at the gym. Next week the contestants go to Colorado to the Olympic training facility to work out with the members of our Olympic teams, and it looks like someone else is gaining weight.
