Heather_Locklear_300x300Born in 1961, in Los Angeles, California, Heather Locklear was the stereotypical California girl of 1980s television. After making small appearances in shows like CHiPs and Eight is Enough, Locklear was discovered by Aaron Spelling, who would go on to make her a household face and name.

In 1981, Spelling cast Locklear as Sammy Jo Dean on his night time television drama Dynasty which got the career ball rolling for Locklear. In 1982, she appeared on episodes of Fall Guy and Fantasy Island before assuming a regular role as Officer Stacy Sheridan opposite William Shatner in Spelling’s T.J. Hooker.

Despite her innocent beauty and soft-spoken nature, anyone who’s ever seen Locklear in action would agree she was designed to play the manipulative bitch. There was no stopping her after she became a regular on Dynasty. Locklear went on to dazzle audiences, starring in The Return of Swamp Thing, before assuming the role of Amanda Woodward on Spelling’s Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff, Melrose Place.

Though she doesn’t appear as regularly on television today, as she did during the 80s and 90s, Locklear still acts regularly. She’s been in numerous films throughout the years, and appeared as a regular on Scrubs, Spin City and Boston Legal. She recently resumed her role in the Melrose Place reprisal, which kicked off in 2009.

At 49, Locklear is still one of the most beautiful women on television thanks to plastic surgery. Though she has come out of plastic surgery a few times looking less then lovely, she’s still the kind of woman you love to hate: the California girl who could get any guy without even trying, and if she had to try–meow! Watch out!
