Hope for Haiti (8:00 p.m. EST, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, CNN, MTV)
Tonight is the time to stop thinking about ourselves and instead to focus our energies on those who are dealing with the aftermath of the tragedy in Haiti. During the Hope for Haiti special, stars George Clooney, Anderson Cooper, and Wyclef Jean host a telethon to benefit victims of the earthquake. The telethon will air on multiple networks (forgive me if I’ve missed a few in the above line). There will be performances by renowned musicians including Sting, Bono, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Alicia Keys.
Caprica (9:00 p.m. EST, Syfy)
Sci-fi lovers everywhere are sure to be crowded around the television for the pilot episode of Caprica. This show takes us 50 years before the Battlestar Galactica series.
Watch the Graystone and Adama families deal with artificial intelligence, a life-changing tragedy, and corporate responsibility during this evening’s pilot. If you’re a Battlestar Galactica fan, be sure to watch and see where it all began during this two-hour episode.
Medium (10:00 p.m. EST, CBS)
On tonight’s episode, Allison (Patricia Arquette) dreams of a schizophrenic girl…who soon emerges in real life (awkward!). The catch is that she appears as the stable roommates of a psych patient who has vanished. My only question is: how can she be stable and schizophrenic? Anyway, Allison begins to think that the girl could be behind her parents’ deaths. Meanwhile, new feelings are brought to surface in Bridgette (Maria Lark), and they’re all caused by—you guessed it—a boy.
