Everybody is gearing up for the last season of Lost. I know I can’t wait. Having watched the show from the beginning, I am ready for all the answers. Recently, Lost producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof released startling information. Harold Perineau and Cynthia Watros will return for the final season of Lost. The producers made the startling revelation at the end of the Lost Presentation during the winter TV previews.
Perineau, who plays Michael Dawson, shot Watros’ character Libby in season two of the ABC drama. The question still remains, will we learn all about Libby’s back story? Cuse says, “So finally your Libby questions will be answered,” while Lindelof says, “No, they will not.”
Michael left in season two after shooting Ana Lucia and Libby. He then returned in season four and redeemed himself by blowing up the freighter. Viewers were led to believe Michael died in the explosion. So there are three options here. They appear in the flashbacks, they appear as ghosts or apparitions on the island, or we go back in time and Michael never shoots them.
Michael and Libby are the latest conformed characters who we believed were dead that will return for the final season. The list also includes Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell), Boone (Ian Somerhalder), Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) and Helen(Katey Segal).
The final season of Lost will premiere February 2nd at 8p.m. on ABC. Set your DVRs and check back on the third for the Real TV Addict review of the premiere.
